I don’t see how that can be, but it was a plumber who told me.
1. The thermostat on the water heater is set to 120 degrees F. How could the water get hotter than that’
2. The water heater has a pressure relief valve, which, presumably, would keep the internal pressure below the bursting pressure.
Was the plumber wrong’
