Concerns on Red Hot Water Heater

I bought my betta 2 months ago from a breeder.. he was a deep red halfmoon but now he’s color is fading as if he’s becoming transparent.. he’s just about 4 months now..he’s still redish in color but it has greatly faded compared to the first day I got him home.. I feed him frozen bloodworms, Tetra BettaMin, and pellets alternately.. room temp is 90F so I don’t think I need a heater and we’re in a tropical country. Water change every 2days, 5gallon tank.. is the water change too often done’ he’s still energetic and eating voraciously as usually.. only his body is really fading.. is it because of the heat’ i’m aware that the room temp is quite hot but I can’t really do anything about it since it’s summer here or is it because of what i’m feeding’ are bloodworms color enhancers’ wat about tetra betta min’

sorry for the questions but I just don’t know what’s happening to this guy.. my crowntail seems fine and vibrant.. I bought them on the same day…..
